Independence Day Fireworks Show

Crescenta Valley
July 4, 2009

Dear Crew Member

Thank you, again, for making the Fourth of July fireworks show at Crescenta Valley a complete success; the show was great, the audience loved it, the sponsors were thrilled (see below), and we all had a safe and rewarding experience. Your hard work and enthusiasm are what made it happen. Thank you!

I want to do all that I can to make our shows as fun, safe and satisfying as possible for everyone involved. If you have any comments or suggestions, praise or complaints, please take the time to send them to me. In fact, why not do it right now? Use the Online Comments Form.

You'll be hearing from me as next year's show approaches. If your e-mail address changes before then be sure to let me know. I'm looking forward to working with you again.

Hutch

PS... Here are a couple of e-mails from members of the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association:

Hi Hutch,

On behalf of the CV Fireworks volunteer committee, our sponsors and all those in attendance at the show yesterday, I wanted to tell you the pyrotechnic display was awesome. The rockets red glare went off right on cue and the bombs burst in air. 18 minutes of non-stop action with a start and a finale that were world class.

You and your workers and volunteers are doing all that work behind scenes all day so that we can all enjoy the finished product. The cheering crowd and awestruck children meant mission accomplished. Thanks for your dedication to our annual event and for making it special once again.

Hutch, without a doubt . . . the best ever!!

You and your crew are true professionals. But even beyond that, you put on one of the most amazing fireworks displays in the country. Just when you think it's ending, the final display of fireworks has been launched, out comes more fireworks . . . more beautiful and intense than the ones before. The last few minutes were so intense that it felt like a warzone . . . people were going crazy with excitement.

Thank you Hutch and thank you to your crew of professional men and women. We are so fortunate to have you doing our show. It was a pleasure working with you this year.

Best Regards,

Steve Pierce
